We want you to feel confident with every purchase from Piercing Zone. If something isn't right, here's exactly how we handle it.
Return Window
Return and exchange requests — including reports of defective or incorrect items — must be submitted within 90 days of delivery. Contact us at info@piercing-zone.com before shipping anything back. We will respond within 1 business day.
Inspecting Your Order
We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives:
- Check the outer packaging for any transit damage before opening. If it looks damaged, photograph it first.
- Once opened, verify the item matches your order — style, size, and gauge.
- Inspect the piece for any manufacturing defects.
Reporting issues within 14 days of delivery ensures the fastest resolution.
In-Stock Items — Personal Preference Returns
If an in-stock item didn't work out for you — wrong fit, changed your mind, or not what you expected — you may return it within 14 days of delivery, provided:
- The item is unused and unworn
- It is in its original sealed packaging
- All original components are included
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Items that have been opened, worn, or installed are not eligible for personal preference returns.
A $6 processing fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling costs. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
After 14 days, personal preference returns are no longer accepted. Manufacturing defect claims are covered under our Lifetime Warranty at any time — see below.
Pre-Orders
Pre-order items are produced specifically for you, on demand. For this reason, all pre-orders are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges, provided the item matches the product description and arrives free of manufacturing defects.
Any confirmed manufacturing defect on a pre-order is fully covered under our Lifetime Warranty.
Lifetime Warranty — Manufacturing Defects
All jewelry from our official partner brands — Buddha Jewelry, Tawapa, Norvoch, Industrial Strength and BodyGems — is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. There is no time limit to report a defect.
Covered:
- Gemstone falling out or visibly cracked upon arrival
- Loose or improperly set stones
- Broken pin or pin connection upon arrival
- Broken hinge or clasp on a clicker
- Tooling marks present upon arrival
Not covered:
- Accidental damage, impact, or drops
- Improper installation or pin bending
- Damage from ultrasonic cleaning or harsh chemicals
- Normal wear and tear
For confirmed defects, we will replace the item or issue store credit at no cost to you. We may request photos or the return of the item for inspection. Return shipping for defective items is covered by Piercing Zone.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email info@piercing-zone.com with your order number and reason for the return
- Attach photos of the item in its original sealed packaging from a few angles. If the packaging has been opened, include clear photos of the unworn piece.
- For defect or wrong item claims, briefly describe the issue
- We will respond within 1 business day with a Return Authorization (RA) number and next steps
Do not ship your item back without a Return Authorization number. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed and may be refused.
